This fantastic cruise offers you stunning scenery, a range of excursions and the chance to see Aurora Borealis, or The Northern Lights as it is also known. You will start your journey from Tromsø and travel along the Arctic coastal zone to view the impressive scenery. You will visit the most northerly parts of Norway to distant towns where you can admire the beautiful skylines, either from the comfort of the ship or on one of the exciting excursions which you can book as an optional extra. Amongst these are adventures such as husky sledging, snowmobiling or you can even visit the Snow Hotel

Day 1 -
Direct Flight to Tromsø

Your exciting experience will begin in Tromsø after you have travelled direct on a charter flight from Gatwick. Tromsø is the Arctic capital of Norway which is only 2000 kilometres from the North Pole and is perfect for spotting the Northern Lights. Your flight from Gatwick will depart at 10:00 and arrive in Tromsø at 14:30 (times may be subject to change).

Days 2 to 3 -
Pass North Cape onto Kirkenes
|

You will sail along striking coastlines where you can marvel at the snow capped cliffs and enjoy the eye-catching journey to Kirkenes, you will arrive mid-morning which will allow you time to participate in one of the optional activities on offer. Test your stability on a snowmobile, wonder at the Snow Hotel, or if sightseeing is more appealing then why not take a trip to the Russian border? You will later leave Kirkenes and head back towards Tromsø.

Day 4 -
Tromso
|
|
You return back along the coast to the world’s northernmost town of Hammerfest in Finnmark County which was a fishing and Arctic hunting colony before being transformed into a market town. Arriving in Tromsø late into the evening, you will then transfer to a local hotel for a one or two night stay, depending on which you have booked prior to the holiday.

Day 5 -
Departure from Tromsø
|
Before your departure you can discover Tromsø, the largest Norwegian town north of the Arctic Circle which boasts the world’s northernmost planetarium and botanical gardens. Alternatively you can book an optional excursion. Depending on how many nights you stay in Tromsø, you will either leave on day 5 or 6 at 15:30, arriving at Gatwick at 18:00 (times may be subject to change).
