Norway : Northern Lights Cruises - Voyage South
Between Bergen and Kirkenes the Norwegian coast is a place of exceptional beauty. Fishing villages nestle between towering fjords and chains of skerries provide a perch for seabirds. Northern Lights cruises along this section of coastline are characterised by rugged mountain views, freshly caught seafood and night time vistas of the Aurora Borealis. Some of the favourite daytime activities on our Northern Lights cruises are visiting Hammerfest, tours of the Viking city of Trondheim and exploring the Bergenhaus Fortress.
Day 1 -
Travel to Kirkenes
|
The Northern Lights are at their most visible when there is an absence of light pollution which is why the passage between Norway’s remote northern settlements is perfect for Northern Lights cruises. Once onboard speak to the purser's desk to request a wakeup call if the Aurora is spotted.

The Arctic Circle

Day 5 -
Arrive in Trondheim
