Day 1 - Arrive in Winnipeg

After you arrival in Winnipeg transfer to your hotel, the Inn at the Forks (transfers not included). Following check-in there will be a meet and greet, after which you will be free to unwind for the rest of the evening. Overnight stay at the Inn at the Forks.

Day 2 - Full day Museum program

Enjoy a delectable breakfast before transferring to the Manitoba Museum, where you will spend today exploring its fascinating exhibits. During a full day programme you will see: A presentation in the Planetarium, the Fire in the Sky program, the photography clinic, an Inuit People of the North program and go on a gallery tour. After a day exploring Canada’s captivating history and learning about the astronomy behind the Northern Lights, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Winnipeg.

Day 3 - Transfer to Churchill

In the morning transfer to the airport for your flight to Churchill. On arrival there will be a Town & Area Bus tour of Churchill, during which you will have the opportunity to see the many sights of this idyllic town, following the tour you will be taken to your hotel for check in. In the afternoon there will be a visit to the Eskimo Museum, which features Canada's finest collections of Inuit carvings, kayaks and artefacts.During the evening you will have dinner at the Hudson Bay Quest Banquet before setting off on your first Northern Lights Tundra Buggy Tour in Canada. The Tundra buggy is a comfortable safari vehicle which will allow you to venture out into Churchill’s arctic wilderness in search of the lights, whilst still remaining warm and comfortable. Overnight stay at the Tundra Inn.

Day 4 - Dog Sledding

Dog Sledding Today you will visit the start line of the world famous Hudson Bay Quest, were a yearly husky sled race is held. In the afternoon you will get to try husky sledding yourself, after which you will go on an evening Buggy tour in search of the Northern Lights. After the tour you will return to the Tundra Inn for an overnight stay.

Days 5 to 6 - Snowshoeing program

Snowshoeing program During the next two days you will get to explore the history, culture and landscape of Canada on a combination of activities including a snowshoeing program and local Inuit culture and wildlife presentations. in the evenings you will go on extensive Tundra Buggy Northern Lights safaris. After your exhilarating excursions you will return to the Tundra Inn.

Day 7 - Transfer back to Winnipeg

Today you will be transferred to the airport for a mid-day flight with Calm Air. On your arrival in Winnipeg transfer to the Sheraton Four Points Hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 8 - Depart Winnipeg

Leave Canada via Winnipeg airport on a return flight to the UK.
