Experience winter in the heart of Lapland

The Aurora Chalet is an ideal place to enjoy a winter holiday as it has so much to offer, not least the opportunity to witness nature’s most splendid display, the Aurora Borealis above Finland. Set in the heart of Lapland in a quaint village called Luosto, the Aurora Chalet experiences around 200 days of winter every year, which makes it the perfect place to enjoy snow-based activities. During your Northern Lights holiday you can take part in snowmobiling expeditions, dog sledding safaris, snowshoe hikes, cross country skiing and a reindeer sleigh ride, as well as several excursions to track down the elusive Aurora Borealis in Finland.

When you stay at the Aurora Chalets on an activity break, you can take full advantage of your own private sauna to warm up in after a day spent enjoying the outdoors. Delicious authentic Lappish cuisine is served in the Aurora Chalet’s restaurant, and includes tasty dishes like reindeer steak, roasted wild boar and succulent salmon. Take it easy in the evenings as you relax in the warmth of your comfortable room and watch for the Aurora Borealis over Finland from the north-facing window.
